  1. Do you ever sit back and watch the Christmas rush and think, all for one day. It just doesn't sit right with me that I should have to exhaust myself both physically and mentally and financially for only a morning of gift opening. Christmas should be about the emotional gift sharing between friends and family. It should be a continual emotion that is shared all through the year. Christmas for me is all year-round. I don't need a holiday to buy my children something. Everyday is Christmas for my them.
Why is it that when we are in the grocery store and rushing to get home to cook dinner, we barely acknowledge the counter-clerk. yet at Christmas we turn and say the yule tide greeting of "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays". Why not acknowledge people everyday and usher greetings like this," thank you so much, have a blessed day". No happy Holidays, only a message of true spirit and good will.
Christmas for me is about the joy of good family and friends, about the good will towards men, about the birth of the one who came to save the world, our Lord Jesus Christ.
